Dolla

Use the Attention Centre, guidance, and tours

Use the Attention Centre action queue, mobile push preferences, dashboard top actions, uncategorised transactions guidance, guidance hub, tours, and the Help Centre for the right kind of follow-up.

Attention Centre

Open the Attention Centre at /notifications when you want a focused list of things that need action now. Its action queue combines review inbox tasks, unread notifications, recurring follow-ups, and exhausted rollover budgets into linkable next steps, then keeps the broader backlog and recurring summaries nearby for context.

Some safe actions can be completed directly from the queue. Notification-backed actions mark the notification as read. Computed review, recurring, and rollover actions can be dismissed from your own queue until tomorrow without changing financial records or hiding the action from another household member. Open the relevant workspace to resolve the underlying task.

Dolla may also ask whether your credit card is connected when card repayments total at least A$900 over the latest three months and are greater than the other spending it can see. The action estimates the possible monthly understatement and links to Data Management so you can check the connection. It never changes your transactions or blocks other work. Dismissing this prompt snoozes it for three months, so it can return only after the evidence window has refreshed.

The action queue also includes a single rollover budget action when one or more rollover funds are exhausted. It links to the Rollovers row in Track rather than changing financial records from the Attention Centre.

If one part of the Attention Centre cannot load, Dolla shows a retryable alert for that section instead of treating the missing data as an empty queue. Clearing read notifications also asks for confirmation before removing them.

Mobile push notifications

Mobile push notifications are for timely, personal follow-ups: budget guardrails, bill reminders, goal milestones, achievement tier-ups, weekly digests, Monthly Wrap nudges, and optional balance-update reminders. Push alerts use your quiet hours, preferred delivery window, and daily cap so routine items wait for a sensible time instead of arriving all day.

Open the cogwheel, choose Settings, then Notifications on mobile to pause push entirely, tune each notification type, change quiet hours, adjust the daily cap, or turn off the weekly digest and balance reminder. Each notification detail also has Fewer like this for quickly reducing similar pushes.

If a category keeps going unopened, Dolla sends one meta-notification that links back to notification preferences with that category highlighted. It will not repeat for that category until you open something from it again.

Dashboard top actions

Use the dashboard's Top actions card when you want the highest-priority follow-ups without leaving the overview. Open the Attention Centre when you need the full queue, recurring follow-up, or notification history.

Guidance hub

The guidance hub has two modes:

  • Journey for setup progress and next recommended steps.
  • Library for replaying product walkthroughs after the initial onboarding is done.

Help and more

The cogwheel menu keeps support and exploration links out of the Home, Track, Analyse, and Plan workspaces. It opens the Help Centre, guidance hub, tours, roadmap, public tools, blog, and feedback action.

Which surface should you use

  • Use the Attention Centre when something needs action now.
  • Use the dashboard's Top actions card when you want the highest-priority next steps beside your financial snapshot.
  • Use the Review inbox when you need the broader queue for categorisation, verification, reconciliation, or follow-up.
  • Open the cogwheel and choose Guidance & Tours when you want a short product walkthrough.
  • Use the Help Centre when you want searchable, wiki-style explanations and troubleshooting.
